Jonathan the Jester is in a celebratory mood after yet another successful year for the Buzz Action Foundation.
“We have grown. The number of volunteers grew. The quality of their work was incredible. Our team has grown. We delivered more projects, attended more events, more days out, more diverse activities and we worked with more external providers than ever before. All this thanks to a great team and some much appreciated funding and support from Garfield Weston Foundation, Wiltshire Council, Amesbury Town Council, Abri, and several other small funders enabled our volunteers to unlock their potential and realise their ideas.
7 Residential activities including a 10 day summer camp which included The Purbeck Valley Folk Festival and 3 Jubile Events.
Over 50 daytrips in the micro bus which cost just £3.50 per head. We visited other Youth Groups, a variety of cultural events, fairs, shows and festivals. 7 trips to a beach, an airshow, a dance school, 3 castles helped make this one of our most culturally rich years ever.
5 Youth Clubs meeting weekly. Including Amesbury Youth Cafe, The element Cafe, 2 Circus Groups.
Another 24 External Activities including Curling, Dodgeball, a Juggling Convention and so much more.
15 external providers visited our groups and provided enrichment from Professional Circus Artists, Aerial Coaches, Belay, Blue Light Services and a rescue group.
